It was established in 1996, and it smoothly continued in the work of its predecessor - limited liability company Kopos Kablo Kolín. Kopos Kablo Kolín was established following the privatization of state-owned enterprise Kablo Kolín at the beginning of 1990s. The history of the factory dates back to 1926.
The company specializes in the production of electric installation materials; however, it has also been involved in the research and development in the sphere of radiation screening in nuclear plants, bringing a new product NEUTROSTOP.
Since 2007, KOPOS has also been producing cable supporting systems like Cable Ladders, Cable Trays, Cable Trunkings, Wire mesh cable trays, Cable tray support systems and Lot.
